We have been learning about nouns adjectives and nouns and then doing a Kahoot to self assess our learning.

EASTER

in the holidays my friend came to my house for a sleepover.
he stayed there for two days.
he came on Sunday and left on Monday.
first we played on the XBOX.
the games that we played on the Xbox was hydro thunder and burnout paradise.
we played  games all day and night.
we had lots of fun then the next day came.
we ate breakfast then watched TV but my friend had to go home then he stayed a little bit more

What we did in the holidays

Jayda and Charlottle went to Shreya's house for a play date on Tuseday yesterday. When Jayda arrived    

Shreya and Jayda had popcorn while waitting for Charlottle to arrive.Jayda ate all the popcorn and saved hardly any for Charlottle.Then Charlottle arrived and she wanted some popcorn so Shreya's mum Cylvia made some more popcorn.While they were eating popcorn they were wacthing Scooby doo,Later on they created a new game called wiggely biggely fun, so what they do is jump on the trampoline and spin around till you get dizzy.Then they went and spyed on the neighbors. Jayda left before five o clock and Charlottle stayed with Shreya.Charlottle stayed later than 5 o clock. Shreya and Charlottle got bored so they dicided to spy on the neighbors again.20 mintues past 5 Charlottle had to leave.Shreya went NOOOO! because when Charlottle left Shreya's mum said ''homework now''.

Our jungle Adventure

It is a hot day in the jungle, it is very noisy with all the animals. Up in the trees we see a treehouse. There are people standing there taking photos of monkeys. The ground starts to shake and the jungle animals scream because they are scared.
Chris covers his ears it is so noisy. Kololo jumps down and runs. Tupou holds on to the tree until the earthquake stops.
The people in the tree all fell out and crashed on the ground.
Once the earthquake had finished the three friends ran over to help the people who fell out of the tree. One of them was dead. One had a broken leg and she was screaming for help.
Kololo tries to find some wood to make a splint. Tupou heads to the river to find some water. Chris got some medicine out of his backpack.
Suddenly they heard a helicopter high above the jungle.
They all started screaming, waving and shouting at  the helicopter until it noticed them and came to their rescue!

Story time

Take the elements you have been working on this week: your character, your setting and your conflicts and put them together to create your narrative story. Your story will have your main character having some problem (conflict) that needs to be resolved by the end of your story.
It can be as simple as having lost your house key to aliens coming to destroy the world.

Literacy Week part Three

Conflict!

Literacy week continues.

What they look like.
He is a small, green, big eared, wrinkled, big  wide eyed creature. His is old and tired yet strong and powerful. He wears rough scratchy old brown robes and walks hobbled over with an old walking stick.

What they want.
He wants peace in the galaxy and a quiet place to rest and live out his final days.

What they are feeling.
 He is feeling sad as his peace and quiet have been disturbed.

What they are afraid of.
He is afraid that the Dark side is going to win and he is too old to battle it.

What do they value above all other things.
 Being one with the force, making sure those he cares about find one with the force and that all is well in the universe.

I am in Castle of goodness it is warm and bright, the smell of flowers makes me want to stay forever. I am spellbound at the way the castle looks like, the castle is made out of stone and is a dark colour it has glowing white lines and big windows with flags at the top of the roof and the sun would always shine upon the castle.

I'm in Mumbai India.it was so noisy and busy .It smells like sweat and gas.Feels like standing on a boiling water. The city looks dirty and poor.

At nine clock at night I was in LA it was so busy then we heard these weird noises.The city was full of cars honking there horns and trying to get out of the city and the people were  running  away screaming.The buildings were really tall and they made out of wood and glass. This week at Linwood North School is Literacy Week.

In ESOL this week we are going to be writing, writing, writing.

Choose the setting of your favourite TV show or movie and write a story about what it would be like to be in it and have an adventure.

For me I would choose the setting of Star Wars!

I am on the planet Tatooine It is a dry hot place. Brown and dusty. The smell of rubbish and animals assaults my nose. My eyes feel like the air has sucked all the moisture out of them and I need a big drink of water. The hum of speeders and the roar of a bantha are drowned out by a spaceship roaring into orbit on a pillar of fire.

Down the street ahead of me staggers a strange creature...
