I jump up high
in the wide open sky.
I can be short or tall,
But I always play with a ball.

We are watching one of Te Matatini

The students are asking lots of questions. At the moment one of the Christchurch teams are on. good Luck.

Steve wants to say that the girls are pretty. Davinia saw a maori necklace  and a girl with poi. Chris saw that both boys and girls have earrings.Priyanshu wanted to know what the piu piu were made of and how they use the taiaha. Chris says that one if the men is wearing a cloak. Davinia asked what the necklaces of metal. Steve saw a man with a blue cloak. Steve said that many of them have cool tattoos. Priyanshu said the boys have tattoos on the face but the girls just have them on their chins.

We noticed that the performers move their hands in little shake movements and talked about showing strength and mans.

Alarms!

Today we learnt about the alarms at school. One alarm is a fast pulse alarm. This is a lock down where we all stay inside and keep safe. The teacher will make sure all the doors are locked.

The other alarm is a long pulse for five and then a voice says "please evacuate the building". This is for a fire or other event.

امروز ما در مورد آلارم در مدرسه آموخته است. یکی زنگ زنگ پالس سریع می باشد. این قفل پایین که در آن همه ما در داخل بماند و ایمن نگه داشتن است. معلم مطمئن خواهند شد که تمام درها قفل شده است.

زنگ دیگر یک پالس طولانی مدت پنج است و پس از آن صدای گوید "لطفا تخلیه ساختمان". این است برای یک آتش سوزی یا رویداد دیگر.
