Welcome Back to 2018

Another year begins, with new rooms, new teachers and new faces. New friends to be made and new things to be learnt. ESOL will be staring soon with new groups and a new teacher! Mr. Betts will still be taking five groups but Ms. Shanahan will be taking four groups as well. This is great as it means we can have smaller groups and have more quality time with each student and better cater to the students learning needs.

Over the Holidays I was lucky enough to travel over seas to visit my family in far away Denmark. The trip took about 35 hours from door to door and I literally travelled half way around the world. On the way home we stopped for three days in a place called Dubai which is in Africa and is all new buildings and desert.

I rode a camel and did something new which was sand surfing down the dunes on a snow board. I wasn't very good at it the first time, but improved after trying hard and practicing.

I hope everyone is ready for learning and looking forward to ESOL. See you soon.
