Shreya is building a train

I'm building a rainbow train in Minecarft.

First of all I chose the blocks I waned to build my train with.

My first lire was red  my next lire is going to be blue.

Sairah is building aicraft planes

I'm building an aircraft plane in minecraft and I first put a brown blocks and I keep making mistake and I choose a sand blocks but I think that brown blocks is better and when I'm building its getting dark and I go to sleep.

Tiera is building a car

First I had to build a house with purple blocks .Then I put windows and I added a door it got dark so I went to sleep.In the morning I did some more work on my house now all I need to do is build the garage and build the car to put it in the garage then I will be done.

The students have been building their inventions in Minecraft and though some have not finished they are writing a recount of what they did. They are publishing their work in progress and then they will come back to edit it over the week. The students are going to read the students a going to read the other students work and commenting what they think s good and one thing they can improve on.

Nathan is building

I'm building a iron man,house and magnet in minecraft.I need a lots of red block to build a iron man and magnet and a two stones.To made an iron man and magnet I got cube red blocks.

And I made at the bottom first then I go to the top.And I build a house but 

I haven't yet finish my house so next I'm done.

Elahe built a train

I started with putting a row of blue blocks making a rectangle shape.Then I made a rectangle shape again using green blocks  I did it again using pink blocks finally I did the roof with yellow blocks. I put a door and some windows.Inside the train I put green tables and white chairs and torches.I just need to make the steam engine on the top and I will be finished.

Next time I would like to make a small red 1 story house with lots of windows and 1 door my house will have a garden inside my house there's going to be a bed 1 table and 2 chairs I will make a kitchen too.I made my train in minecraft.

I am finished   my  plane in minecraft

Now I can make my house.

I just need one more thing on my plane and I will be finished.

Then I will be able to make my house.

On the plane the wings are red inside.

When it got dark I went to my bed and slept in it.

When it was morning I went for a dip in the water and got back to my plane.

 I want to build  an under ground house so I can hide in the tunnels.

Priyanshu is building a bus

I started making a bus in minecraft.First               I  started putting  down yellow block then it was night then I got lost so I had to made another. First I put down yellow blocks then I got black block and put it each conner of my bus  then I made my roof. Then I made my window and then I made  my seats .

Tasneem is building a plane

First I made a long pole with grey blocks. Then I made the bottom bit of the plane with green blocks which i put on top of the pole. Next I put white seats on. After that I made the planes wings. Then I put on a door and some windows. I made the sides next. Now I just need to build the roof. 

Next I will build a garden. In my garden I am going to put some red flowers. 

Dontae is building a colt

I started to put the grip on it then I made the barrell after I made the trigger. I used more then 10  grey blocks and 10 of orange    Blocks and then I made a house with 4 wall 2 windows and a door and now I  am doing the garden.

For the rest if the term one if the tools the students will be using is Minecraft. This is a great creative tool for showing students ideas and learning. We have already used it to create inventions with school inquiry, now as part of Health the school is looking at gardens which we will design in Minecraft as well as Keeping ourselves safe and building ourselves a safe house to live in.

The kiwi who wanted to fly by Tayla

The kiwi was very determined to fly.He built a tree cliff and used a rope to put it all together.Next the kiwi jumped off the cliff he had prepared to die.When he was falling there was a big thud when the parachute popped open and he carefully fell to the ground.Into a lake he fell.He almost drowned but he floated to shore and now he can follow his dream the end.

Seyn is thinking if researching the space shuttle.

This term we are going to research an invention or create our own.

If successful I thought we might build models of the inventions in Minecraft!
